Our Experience
The exciting new NightFalls attraction at Northwoods Falls is unlike any other in the country! An immersive and interactive night walk experience will delight your senses as you wander the three-quarter mile lighted trail around our pond with family and friends.
Great sounding music echoes among the trees as a spectacular light show paints nature in brilliant dancing light using the trees and natural landscape as a living breathing canvas. Moving lights, lasers, water features, and other special effects all along the trail are programmed in sync with the beat of the music which was recorded here at Northwoods Falls from our local musicians. You won’t be able to miss our many small cabins along the trail, each with their own window into the world. There are plenty of photo opportunities around every turn.
Make the experience complete with a hearty dinner in our lodge-style log cabin restaurant or on our huge summer deck overlooking the light show. Or plan a trip over to see a great band at what has become a top drawing live music venue in the region. There’s something for everyone at Northwoods Falls and our NightFalls night walk!
Our Story
Our NightFalls lighted night walk is inspired by some of the awesome Christmas light shows in and around the Chicago area every year where designers use stage lighting and projectors in fun and creative ways. We’re taking it up a notch or two…or twenty.
It only seemed natural to combine our experience as a top live music venue with vast knowledge of quality sound and lighting equipment with our beautiful 10-acre natural lot. Add in a great deal of innovative thinking and we knew we could create things no one has ever seen before. As one of the largest family restaurants in NW Indiana, it was a perfect fit for Northwoods Falls.
